Canada

Canada (British Columbia)

Canada is definitely most famous for its beautiful lakes, stunning scenery and of course its maple syrup…

When we arrive, we instantly feel relaxed. It’s a place filled with so much natural beauty, from snowy mountains to secluded lakes and forests.

When we visit Canada we always fly into Vancouver and spend a few days in the city before hitting the road. Our absolute favourite spot to stay in Vancouver is Deep Cove. We have been lucky enough to make great friends in the area, who we stay with! It is a very sweet suburban area right on the water. It’s the perfect place to unwind, with walks in the forests, hikes on the mountains, paddle boarding on the water and all whilst still being very close to the city!

Our favourite place to eat and have coffee in deep cove is café Orso. It has the most delicious fresh baked pastries, avo on toast and waffles. We also love to stop by and get a doughnut from Honey’s.

Make sure you head downtown and into the city when staying in Vancouver. It is such a cool city, with so many things to do and epic places to eat. Visit Stanley park and the Granville Island markets while you are there too.

We have been on two different incredible road trips in Canada (BC). One from Vancouver --> Vernon. The other from Vancouver --> Squamish --> Whistler --> Green Lake --> Joffre Lake --> Lake Nicola (along Duffey Lake road). I recommend both these road trips! Each destination is beautiful and filled with plenty of things to do in the great outdoors.
