When we landed in Bora Bora, we instantly knew we had arrived in paradise. We jumped on the Resort’s boat and headed to where we were staying: Conrad Bora Bora Nui.
We absolutely loved this resort. It was blissful and boasted incredible views from every inch of the island.
One of the best things about Bora Bora is that you can be as adventurous or as relaxed as you want to be. Either way you’re in for one of the best trips of your life.
If you’re feeling adventurous here is a great list for you:
You can either snorkel at the resort, right under your bungalow or you can head to a lagoon where you can go snorkelling with sting rays, sharks and discover beautiful coral gardens filled with fish. We highly recommend doing this! We did this with our friends and had such an amazing time. On this same day our friends took us to lunch at a local restaurant (Restaurant Matria Beach). Here we enjoyed fresh sashimi and poisson cru. (Poisson cru is a local dish of raw fish marinated in lemon juice and coconut milk, and you must try it, it’s delicious).
Another fun activity you can do is ride your bikes around the resort. This is such a good way to see everything and to soak in all the magical views.
Go for a SUP paddle out on the water and see all the different blue hues on offer
Play tennis with a beautiful backdrop
There are so many different ways to unwind at this resort:
Relax by the impressive infinity pool. Sip Cocktails or read a book
Lay out on the deck of your overwater bungalow drinking a crisp wine or ordering rooms service
Jump in from your overwater bungalow and take a dip.. or in Michael’s case perfect your backflip
Head to the day spa and pamper yourself
Hang out in a cabana on the white sandy beaches surrounded by tropical palms & crystal-clear water
Our favourite restaurant was the Upa Upa sushi bar! It has glass bottom floors and delicious sushi. It’s also such a beautiful spot to go for drinks- We loved watching the sunset here. We also really enjoyed the Iriatai French restaurant- We played a game of pool here and drank red wine after dinner. You can also embrace the French Polynesia's culture and tradition by taking part in a spectacular fire and dance show. For a special occasion there are some really romantic dining experiences you can choose from, whether it's a candle lit dinner on the beach or sunset cruise out on the water, no matter what you'll have a incredible time.
We hope everyone gets to go here one day and experience this magical place, its truely worth it.
